Company History

With experience from a retired scale company, Ron Clarke began Best Weigh Scale in 1974. His son Jim soon joined him gaining expertise in the scale industry. Today Jim manages the company along with the next generation, his two sons and daughter.

We are proud to call Best Weigh Scale a three-generation family business running strong. As a family, we continue to work hard to provide continuity in service and sales for Best Weigh Scale customers and the fourth generation to come.

It is the policy of Best Weigh Scale Sales & Service Limited to establish, document, implement and maintain an effective quality management system that will meet or exceed our customers’ needs and requirements. We will continue to improve on a continuing basis as well as meet all of Measurement Canada requirements.

We provide high-quality service to our customers in various industries – such as construction, asphalt, concrete, agricultural, industrial and many other fields of business.

Best Weigh Scale has the ability to obtain various makes and models of weighing systems or devices from top-load balances to heavy-duty 500,000Lb capacity truck and rail car scales.
